OUR PASTOR

Pastor Gregory McGee, Sr. is a native of Greenville, MS. He is the eighth of nine children born to late Deacon Charlie & Mother LaDora McGee. He now resides in Kilmichael, MS with his wife, Vivian. He and his wife have 4 children and 14 grandchildren.
 

Pastor McGee resided in Hampton, Virginia for several years where he accepted his calling to preach the gospel and started preparation studies under the leadership of the late Doctor Walter R. Dean Sr.  at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia.
Pastor McGee received his Master’s degree in Theology from The School of Exodus in Cleveland, MS and is currently working on his Doctorate degree in Theological studies.
He humbly accepted being chosen by God to pastor Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Winona, MS since August 2011.

He acknowledges his calling of II Timothy 4:2, “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine”. He is a humble man of God after God’s own heart and acknowledges God as his first love. 
Pastor McGee believes in allowing the Lord to use him to His fullest. 
Pastor McGee’s daily walk with God is a representation of HIM.

Pastor McGee and Only Lady Vivian McGee are the Overseers of G&V Ministries, where they currently have 4 Pastors under their ministry.
Together, he and his wife own Cornerstone Christian Bookstore, LLC in Grenada, Ms.  
He and his family believes in Christ being the head of their lives, worshiping the Lord in Spirit and in Truth and being led by the Holy Spirit.

Purpose Statement

The purpose of the Mount Moriah M. B. Church is to exalt our Savior Jesus Christ and embrace the leading of the Holy Ghost. We will edify the saints of God through our teaching and our examples of godly living. We will spread the love of God abroad in our community through the ministries of the church by ministering to the spiritual, emotion, and physical needs of the residents of Montgomery County and surrounding areas so they can develop a lifestyle of worship to help reach the community and nation.​
